DesignerCon is where art, toys, collectibles, fashion, and creative culture come together – Pasadena is where it all began. The Pasadena event marks a return to the convention’s roots, offering an intimate atmosphere focused on local artists, designers, and brands. Whether you’re a lifelong collector or discovering designer culture for the first time, there’s something here for everyone.

    Meet artists, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers spanning apparel, plush, sculpture, designer toys, and art ranging from fine to urban.

    Many vendors bring exclusive products to DesignerCon that you can only purchase while supplies last during the duration of the show.

    Don't miss major artist signings, toy releases, and other scheduled events throughout the weekend.
The show was founded and is still run by companies who are also vendors, which is why DesignerCon strives to provide a fun, safe, and comfortable environment for fans, artists, and vendors to connect.

Hotel Dena

Hotel Dena is located in Pasadena, CA, adjacent to the Pasadena Convention Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Attractions near the hotel include the Rose Bowl, Old Town Pasadena and The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens.

Hyatt Place Pasadena

A stay at Hyatt Place Pasadena places you in the heart of Pasadena, steps from Pasadena Convention Center and a 3-minute drive from Colorado Street Bridge. This hotel is 2.6 mi (4.3 km) from Rose Bowl Stadium and 3.1 mi (5 km) from The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens.

Parking

A subterranean 600-car garage is located on the Pasadena Convention Center grounds that is shared with The Hotel Dena.

In addition, there are over 2,500 parking spaces within a one block radius of the facility.

The current daily parking rate is $15.00 per car (no in/out access) and subject to change. 

Reserved parking is $25.00, subject to change. 

What to Bring

We recommend comfortable shoes, a bag and/or backpack, sketchbook and pens/Sharpies. We also recommend pre-plannning a meeting place and time with your group in case you become separated.
